Overview

Children’s Eye Care + Surgery of Georgia is proud to provide a specialty optical department to our patients. We have a shop dedicated to expertly fitting children from infants to young adults with glasses, sport glasses, sunglasses and other options. We offer a wide selection of children’s frames and are pleased to include brands such as Miraflex, Dilli Dalli, Ray Ban, Nike, Oakley, and Flexon Kids.

Our optical department specializes in optical services for more complex prescriptions. All lenses are certified accurate to the prescription by passing a 16 point inspection through the lab. Additionally, all of our glasses come with a warranty that covers your glasses for one year and includes three replacements of the frame and lenses during that time.

Our Director

Mariah, the Director of Optical Operations at Children’s Eye Care + Surgery of Georgia, has over 10 years of experience as an optician. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Advertisement and holds a Master’s in Management: Project Management from Purdue University. Mariah hails from Washington D.C. She enjoys working out for the sole purpose of “being able to eat as much great tasting and unhealthy food as possible while still feeling as healthy as possible.” Her favorite sport is football (Who Dat?!). Mariah’s vast knowledge, experience, compassion, and love of children allows her to help as many children and adults as possible in their journey to enhance their lives through the gift of sight.

Insurance Options

Children’s Eye Care + Surgery of Georgia is not in network with vision insurance plans due to the strictly medical nature of our practice. Some vision plans provide reimbursement out of network and Mariah is happy to discuss this with you at the time of your visit!

MiSight

Children’s Eye Care + Surgery of Georgia is excited to announce the availability of MiSight®!

“MiSight is the cornerstone of a comprehensive myopia management approach. MiSight® 1 day is a daily wear, single use contact lens that has been clinically proven and FDA-approved to slow the progression of myopia (nearsightedness) when initially prescribed for children 8-12 years old.”

Our Director, Mariah, was awarded the Certificate of Professional Development and became the first non-doctor to receive this award. Her expertise can help you decide if MiSight is the right care option for your child.
